FAQ
SendX will send audio from any TV that has any one of the following audio out options; RCA, 3.5mm or toslink (S/PDIF). TVs with RCA or 3.5mm audio ouputs require Analog transmitter purchase option. TVs with digital toslink (S/PDIF) require the Digital transmitter purchase option.
The earbuds, headphones or speakers must have a 3.5mm jack to plug into the SendX fob to receive the audio. Speakers must be powered. Apple products will require the 3.5mm adapter.
One transmitter (analog or digital as ordered) and two receivers (SendX Fobs) are included with the purchase. Each SendX fob may be used as either a transmitter or receiver when plugged into a 3.5mm jack.
Each single transmitter can send audio to up to four receivers. However, an audio splitter and additional transmitter may be used to expand audio from a single source to up to eight receivers. Also, transmitters can be connected to multiple audio sources (TVs, stereos, laptops, phones, etc.) and multiple receivers can switch between the "channels" you create in your home.
No. Each SendX fob will search for a transmitter signal when you first turn it on and you can store a transmitter as a recognized "channel" that it will remember the next time you turn it on. There is no need to pair it each time and there are no passcodes required. You can store up to 10 transmitters on your "favorites" on each SendX fob if you like and you can switch between the "channels" you create in your home.
The SendX fobs are charged wirelessly by placing the unit on the charging mat. However, the SendX fobs may also be charged using a micro USB charger (not included).
No. SendX uses a proprietary wireless audio standard called SKAA which was created from the ground up for high quality audio. SKAA uses Walking Frequency Diversity (WFD), a narrow-band channel hopping strategy to avoid interference with other 2.4 GHz devices. Low latency, HD audio is transmitted directly from the transmitters to the receivers.
No. SendX uses a proprietary wireless audio standard called SKAA which was specifically created from the ground up for high quality audio. SKAA uses Walking Frequency Diversity (WFD), a narrow-band channel hopping strategy to avoid interference with other 2.4 GHz devices. Low latency, HD audio is transmitted directly from the transmitters to the receivers. The receivers (SendX Fobs) must be plugged directly into the 3.5mm jack for earbuds, headphones or powered speakers.
Latency refers to the time it takes for audio to be transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver (SendX Fob). Low latency is needed to ensure that there is a proper sync and not a noticeable delay between the video being watched and the audio being received. It is even more critical in gaming.
SendX has a range of 100 feet. However, indoor range will be dependent on the walls and construction materials (frame vs. concrete block, etc.). Each home will be different.
